Concert poster, circa 1966, of The Grateful Dead, Sausalito, California Heliport. In the mid-sixties I was the original lead vocalist for The Transatlantic Railroad, a San Francisco Bay Area band; we opened for The Dead that evening. This was shortly after The Dead changed their names from “The Warlocks”. This original poster, of which there are only several in the world which still exist, hangs in my studio in Oregon. I have owned the poster since the night of the concert. J. Monroe
